Before you reserve
What you get
- £85 slot (1 share): 14.5kg, made up of 11kg of beef cuts with minimal bones, 2kg of shaki, and 1.5kg of liver, heart and oxtail.
- £170 slot (2 shares): 29kg, made up of 22kg of beef cuts with minimal bones, 4kg of shaki, and 3kg of liver, heart and oxtail.
- The beef is not completely boneless. Fat can be reduced but not removed entirely, as some cows carry more fat.
- Cow shares come without the skin.
- Cows from the slaughterhouse come without offal. We buy liver, heart and oxtail ourselves so every slot includes some. UK regulations apply, so cow share here doesn’t work exactly the way it does in Nigeria.
Shipping
- Slot prices don’t include shipping.
- Courier delivery is £20 for 1 share (£85 slot), £45 for 2 shares (£170 slot), and £20 for each extra share. It’s added at checkout.
- Shipping is optional: you can collect in Preston instead.
- A 29kg slot can’t go on a 30kg Royal Mail label, because the packaging adds weight.

Questions
What is a cow share?
A cow share lets several households split one cow. Each batch has a set number of shares. You reserve one or more, and when the batch is complete we process, pack and deliver your portion.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer. When your payment week opens we email you our bank details and a unique payment reference. Once you have paid, upload your receipt and we confirm your shares.
When do I pay?
You don’t pay when you reserve. Payment opens 7 days before your batch’s delivery week, and we email you our bank details 7 days before delivery. Payment must reach us 4 days before delivery starts, or the slot goes back on sale.
Can I buy more than one share?
Yes. Choose the number of shares before you reserve. You can also book shares in more than one batch.
Can I collect instead?
Yes. Choose collection in Preston at checkout. Delivery is charged once per order.
